After medical school, he furthered his training by completing his surgical residency and vascular fellowship at Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, Connecticut.

An accomplished surgeon in his field, Dr. Pradhan designed a unique hybrid vascular surgery suite that integrates advanced imaging techniques with a traditional operating room setting. He was also the first surgeon in the Chicago area to use fenestrated stents to treat abdominal aortic aneurysms. He joined the Vascular Specialists team in 2015, bringing his expertise in performing procedures for hemodialysis access, peripheral artery disease, venous disease, carotid artery disease, and aneurysm disease, with both open and endovascular methods. He also has a particular interest in the minimally invasive treatment of aneurysms.

Dr. Pradhan takes pride in his work, knowing that he is saving lives and limbs as a vascular surgeon. He finds vascular surgery to be a fascinating mix of medicine and very sophisticated, technically-challenging surgeries. He is committed to using evidence-based medicine, the most recent published data, and the best information available to care for his patients. He also encourages patients to include their families in their conversations to discuss the pros and cons of each treatment. Age, the advancement of the condition or disease, lifestyle, and other factors are all considered when discussing minimally invasive treatments or major surgery to arrive at the right decision for the patient.

Dr. Pradhan is affiliated with Advocate South Suburban Hospital and Palos Community Hospital.
