He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois in Champaign, and his medical degree at Midwestern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Downers Grove, Illinois. After medical school, Dr. Tanquilut completed his internship at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago and his surgical residency at St. Barnabas in New York City. He furthered his training with a vascular and endovascular fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio.
In addition to his board certification, Dr. Tanquilut is certified in hyperbaric oxygen treatment.
